Overview

The SPA100 is designed for measuring and logging very small currents down to the picoampere range - for scientific and research applications including physics, materials science, and electron microscopy. Measures currents from ±2 mA to ±200 pA across 8 ranges, and functions as an ultra-high-resistance meter into the teraohm (1 × 10¹² Ω).

Connects via USB to PC and runs with the free EPIC software. Bias-voltage sourcing capability (0 to ±40 V, polarity-selectable) supports device characterisation and testing. Notable for sensitivity and stability in low-current measurement applications.
