Overview

The SPA120 is a highly sensitive instrument combining sensitivity, accuracy, and stability for low-current measurement across two fully isolated channels. Designed for scientific and research applications including physics, materials science, and electron microscopy.

Features two synchronised, independent channels with series-linkable sources reaching ±80 V bias voltage. Connects via USB and runs with the free EPIC software for measurement graphing, data capture with timestamps, and stability monitoring.

Comparative, differential and matched-pair current measurement. Photodiode X/Y characterisation. Simultaneous source and detector readings.

Record two devices under the same conditions, or two points in one circuit, on isolated channels. One channel may be used as a reference.

Matched-pair selection

Compare two devices simultaneously to select closely matched pairs.

Photodiode characterisation

Synchronised channels support X/Y photodiode measurement. Series-linked sources provide bias up to 80 V.

Electron microscopy

Measure source and detector currents simultaneously on two isolated channels.
