Overview
The ASA280 is the high-channel-count model in our Analog Signature Analyser line. It shares the ASA200 / ASA240 measurement engine and adds a built-in 80×1 switching multiplexer — double the ASA240's channel count — for large boards and dense production fixtures.
Where the ASA240's 40×2 matrix multiplexes both the signal and 0 V leads independently, the ASA280 routes 80 single-ended channels against a common reference. Pair it with DIP/SO adaptors or a bed-of-nails fixture and step through every test point in software. Gate/bias generator, footpedal inputs and free ASA software are the same as the rest of the P472 platform.
